Camanchaca migrates to the cloud and integrates its SAP data in BigQuery

Camanchaca, a Chilean company with operations in salmon farming, industrial fishing, and shellfish production, began a digital transformation to improve productivity, expand market access, and support sustainability. As part of this journey, it worked with Looker and Google Cloud technologies, starting with cloud-based collaboration tools and then moving critical business systems to the cloud.

Looker and Google Cloud helped Camanchaca modernize its operations by migrating SAP and related systems to Google Cloud, with a proof of concept completed in five days and the broader migration finished in just three months. The results included 1,500+ users migrated, 80% adoption of collaboration tools in under three months, SAP availability rising from 95% to 99.9%, processing power increasing sixfold, and SAP plus 30 other systems moved to Google Cloud by late 2021.
