Bepro Video-based football analysis service using Google Cloud

Bepro records football matches in video format and turns them into data for analysis, but needed a fast, scalable way to process large 4K video files from multiple cameras and analyze games for more than 500 teams worldwide. The company uses Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Storage and Compute Engine, to combine footage, correct distortion and color, and support real-time player tracking and match analysis.

Google Cloud Platform implemented an automated, cloud-based workflow powered by Compute Engine and machine learning tools like TensorFlow and GoogLeNet to process video quickly and efficiently. The result was faster match analysis, the ability to scale by adding virtual machines as needed, and improved cost efficiency through per-minute billing and flexible GPU usage, helping Bepro deliver services immediately after matches with less manual effort.
