Banque Edel: Undertaking a digital transformation with Google Distributed Cloud Virtual (VMware)

Banque Edel, a financial services bank in Toulouse, France, needed to modernize its internal banking IT while preserving security, regulatory compliance, and flexibility for future cloud or hybrid moves. Working with Google Cloud Platform, Banque Edel chose GKE Enterprise on Google Distributed Cloud Virtual (VMware) to containerize workloads and build a more agile foundation without moving data off-premises.

Google Cloud Platform, with support from Devoteam G Cloud, designed and deployed the platform, set up Kubernetes, CI/CD and DevOps tooling, and validated security processes before launch. The environment was delivered in less than six months and gave Banque Edel a modern, secure, and scalable infrastructure that improved operational processes, strengthened compliance, and accelerated its digital transformation.
