B4A (Beauty For All), a Brazilian beauty-tech behind the B4A Connect platform, needed to improve slow ecommerce queries and deliver better real-time, personalized beauty recommendations as it scaled. The company turned to Google Cloud Platform, including AlloyDB and Firestore, to support its growing consumer, influencer, and brand ecosystem.

Google Cloud Platform migrated B4A’s backend to AlloyDB, improving data management, scalability, and real-time analytics while enabling Firestore to power real-time updates for Influencer Connect. The impact was significant: complex catalog queries fell from 12 seconds to 1.2 seconds, waiting time for customized results dropped by 73%, site load times improved to 0.25–0.4 seconds, and B4A achieved a record increase in new platform subscribers, surpassing 120,000 monthly subscriptions.
