Ayoconnect: Enabling businesses to deliver API-powered financial products quickly and reliably

Ayoconnect, a SaaS company in Indonesia, needed a compliant, reliable cloud foundation for its open finance platform as it moved from B2C to B2B and expanded financial APIs across Southeast Asia. It also had to meet Indonesia’s data sovereignty requirements while overcoming performance, stability, and slow manual scaling issues from its previous cloud environment. Google Cloud Platform helped Ayoconnect address these challenges with products including Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, and Apigee API Platform.

Google Cloud Platform, working with Searce, implemented a scalable architecture centered on GKE, Cloud SQL, and Apigee for API management, with Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Monitoring, IAM, and Storage supporting operations and security. The results included 99.8% uptime, automated scaling in seconds, support for a 1,000x increase in API hits, and a lean infrastructure team of three instead of 10 to 12, helping Ayoconnect grow from two clients in 2019 to 130 today.
