A Google Cloud Platform Case Study
Seenit is a London startup that helps broadcasters, brands and organizations create crowdsourced video by collecting and organizing footage from audiences. Faced with thousands of incoming clips that would be slow and costly to review manually, Seenit needed fast, accurate automated tagging and indexing so producers could reliably search and assemble videos at scale.
Seenit built its pipeline on Google Cloud Platform, using Vision, Speech and Natural Language APIs plus Compute Engine autoscaling and Cloud Storage to auto-assess, tag and transcode clips as they’re uploaded. The integrated solution delivered faster processing (benchmarks showed up to 2x network/disk speed vs competitors), allowed confidence thresholds to be lowered over time, enabled global deployment in minutes, and sped up turnaround while supporting growth and features like algorithmic editing — helping win major clients such as Rolls‑Royce, Unilever and the BBC.
