ARIGATOBANK Builds highly scalable platform to support high traffic surges with Google Cloud

ARIGATOBANK, a Tokyo-based financial services company focused on social causes, needed a platform that could handle sudden traffic spikes for its donation service kifutown while maintaining availability and low latency. To meet this challenge, ARIGATOBANK turned to Google Cloud Platform, using services including Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Load Balancing, Firebase, and Cloud Armor.

Google Cloud Platform helped ARIGATOBANK build a highly scalable microservices architecture that could expand automatically during traffic surges. The result was a platform that supports 2,000+ donation projects, enables major campaigns to run without downtime or delays, and was initially developed in about two and a half months by a small team of engineers, with minimal ongoing maintenance.
