AODocs delivers enterprise-grade document management integrated with Google Drive and needed a cloud platform that could replace legacy systems while preserving ease of use, security, and compliance. The company faced the challenge of supporting rapid customer growth, heavy daily document ingestion, and millions of audit events without sacrificing performance or uptime.

By building on Google Cloud Platform — using App Engine, Cloud Datastore, BigQuery and G Suite/Drive — AODocs achieved automatic scaling, near-zero downtime, real-time audit logging and fast, non-disruptive software rollouts. The platform now serves 2.3 million users in 85 countries, manages more than 115 million documents (adding ~200,000/day), performs frequent upgrades, and reduces staffing costs by about $500,000 a year.
