AISIN Migrating the backend system of its speech recognition app to the cloud to significantly streamline operations

Aisin, a global automotive systems supplier in Japan, needed to improve the scalability and stability of its real-time speech recognition app, YYProbe, as user numbers grew and operational load increased. The company was already using Google Cloud Platform’s Speech-to-Text for high-accuracy speech recognition, and wanted a more maintainable backend to support future growth.

Google Cloud Platform helped Aisin migrate YYProbe’s backend to Google Cloud and rebuild it with a serverless architecture using Cloud Run, plus CI/CD with Cloud Build. The result was simpler server management, significantly lower maintenance effort, improved development workflows, and a more scalable, reliable speech recognition system that opens the door to new services and future expansion.
