ADEO Services Equipping retailers with accountability and monitoring in a hybrid cloud context

ADEO, the retail and consumer goods group in France, needed its data platform team to improve reliability and speed while serving 452 million customers and supporting digital transformation. Using Looker-related Google Cloud operations tools on its data platform, the team aimed to help engineers focus less on manual maintenance and more on data-driven initiatives.

Looker helped ADEO implement automated SLO monitoring, centralized logging, and cloud/on-premises observability with tools like Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and BigQuery. As a result, ADEO gained real-time log ingestion across environments, faster identification of production issues, better uptime and health monitoring, and long-term storage of around 650 TB of logs for improved analysis and compliance.
