ADEO Services Equipping retailers with accountability and monitoring in a hybrid cloud context

Adeo, the French retail and consumer goods company serving 452 million customers, needed a way to improve its data platform reliability and help engineers spend less time on manual troubleshooting and more time on data-driven work. Using the Google Cloud Platform operations suite, including Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging, Adeo’s site reliability engineering team set out to better manage service health, logs, and alerts across cloud and on-premises environments.

Google Cloud Platform helped Adeo implement automated SLO monitoring, unified logging, and real-time issue detection, supported by tools like SLO Generator and BigQuery for long-term log storage. The result was faster problem diagnosis, improved uptime and application health, and a consolidated accountability database storing around 650 TB of logs, enabling more efficient analysis and stronger self-service capabilities across the organization.
