ADEO Giving a global DIY leader the building blocks to become a digital home improvement hub

ADEO, the third-largest global home improvement player, needed to accelerate its digital transformation and make it much faster for employees to provision infrastructure and build new applications. Using Looker alongside Google Cloud tools, ADEO wanted a more agile way to support 120,000 employees while still integrating with legacy systems and controlling resource use.

Looker helped ADEO track and analyze usage through BigQuery and Looker Studio, while the broader Google Cloud Landing Zone platform automated provisioning, security checks, and application setup. As a result, project environments can now be provisioned in 20 minutes instead of up to four days, and one rebuilt app, OPUS, saw infrastructure costs cut by 45% and eliminated prior performance issues.
