A Google Cloud Platform Case Study
AB Tasty is a France‑based, all‑in‑one website optimization platform that helps clients improve conversion through data‑driven personalization. The company needed to process massive volumes of user events to power sophisticated personalization algorithms and give customers near‑real‑time insights, but its previous cloud setup hit a hard limit (about 1 billion events/day) and had slow event response times.
Working with partner SFEIR, AB Tasty rebuilt its pipeline on Google Cloud using Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery—an MVP in a week and a full migration in 10 months with zero downtime. The new architecture now handles around 2 billion events/day (25 million user sessions/day), cuts event response time to roughly 30–32 ms, gives customers flexible BigQuery access for deeper analysis, and enables better personalization, improved predictions, and planned expansion and ML initiatives.
