1KOMMA5°, a climate-tech company based in Germany, needed a way to scale rapidly across Europe while unifying scattered data from its growing network of solar, storage, heat pump, and EV charging businesses. It worked with Google Cloud Platform to build its own data platform, Heartbeat, and to centralize its business and device data into a single system.

Google Cloud Platform implemented BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Google Cloud-based app development to power Heartbeat, analyze customer device data, and help 1KOMMA5° integrate acquisitions faster. The result was a more efficient, scalable operating model that lets the company react faster, scale up or down without wasting resources, and give customers clearer insights into CO2 and cost savings.
