Famous Fish by Steve Costi, the latest venture from a renowned Australian seafood family, needed to modernize its high‑traffic stores with interactive ordering while preserving a historic seaside aesthetic and ensuring durability and easy central management as it scales. The challenge was to introduce user‑friendly digital experiences that boost spend and brand awareness without compromising the restaurant’s personality.

Working with Nuon and AOPEN, Famous Fish deployed the Google Commercial Chrome platform—self‑service touch kiosks, dynamic menu boards and Chrome Device Management—for fast, secure, and centrally managed digital signage and express ordering. The result: average transaction value at the Fountain Gate store rose 28.7%, brand awareness and customer spend increased, the solution blended with the store design, and the company plans to roll the blueprint out to additional locations.
