Converga Brings Together On-Site And Remote Employees Virtually With Chromebooks

Converga is an Australian business process outsourcing firm with over 1,300 staff working across more than 150 customer sites. Many employees spend most of their time at customer locations and often lacked reliable access to corporate email, intranet and apps because they had to rely on customer devices and networks, leaving them disconnected from headquarters and reducing productivity.

Converga deployed Chromebooks managed through Chrome Enterprise (integrated with Citrix XenApp) to provide a lightweight, secure, remotely managed standard operating environment without rewriting apps. Deployed at about 50 customer sites and used by more than 500 employees, the solution restored reliable access to email, Google Docs, Hangouts and the company intranet, improving communication, productivity and employee engagement across locations.
