Rozetka increases direct marketing revenue by 18% using Related Products in Google Analytics

Rozetka, Ukraine’s leading online retailer with a vast product range and high traffic, wanted to monetize its large customer base through better product bundling, merchandising and email recommendations. The challenge was to increase revenue per user and average order value by delivering more relevant recommendations while integrating data from multiple touchpoints and the company’s ERP.

Working with OWOX, Rozetka used Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics Related Products to collect product interaction data across web, mobile, apps and call-centre channels, exported relations to BigQuery, enriched and filtered it with ERP and customer data, then used the refined recommendations in email campaigns (and later on-site). The result: direct marketing revenue rose 18% and average order value increased nearly 9%.
