Air Show Buzz (ASB) is a media hub for air-show and aviation enthusiasts that promotes live events, user forums, videos and branded merchandise. Using Coremetrics, ASB could not measure key behaviors—video views, Adobe AIR app usage, online sales, social media impact or the link between offline events and mobile activity—and licensing costs prevented the custom tracking and analyst resources needed for decision-making.

Empirical Path recommended and implemented Google Analytics, aligning tracking to ASB’s business goals with e‑commerce, GAforFlash/AIR, campaign tagging, event tracking and location/mobile reports. The new setup revealed video and campaign-driven sales, validated regional event investments, and tracked the BlackBox AIR app (which reached 1 million downloads and won an innovation award), producing clear insights that drove content and marketing changes and increased revenue.
