Shueisha is a leading Japanese publisher behind global hits like NARUTO and DRAGON BALL and a growing digital business, including the Shonen Jump+ app (over 8 million downloads and ~2 million monthly active users). The company wanted to increase active users and customer lifetime value and needed real-time monitoring and faster reporting—tasks that previously took weeks to produce.
Working with e-Agency, Shueisha connected Google Analytics 360 to Google Data Studio to create custom, real-time dashboards that track views, likes, active-user rates and episode performance, and to segment users (core, regular, light) by behavior and demographics. The dashboards cut reporting turnaround from weeks to instant insights, helped test the impact of free titles, informed editorial and product decisions, and improved strategies to boost engagement and lifetime value.
