OYO Rooms, founded by Ritesh Agarwal, needed to build awareness and drive more online demand for its budget hotel app as it expanded across India. Although the app had gained over 40,000 downloads, it had produced only 500 enquiries, so the company turned to Google Adwords to reach a larger audience and improve performance.

Google Adwords helped OYO Rooms promote its app and increase visibility through Google’s ecosystem, including Google Ads and Google Maps. As a result, app downloads rose to more than 150,000 and enquiries increased by 200%, significantly improving customer acquisition and discoverability.
