Wave Studio sees more than 30% growth in ad revenue with AdMob and tROAS feature

Wave Studio, a Bucharest-based mobile app developer best known for Wave Live Wallpaper 3D, needed a more cost-effective, scalable way to acquire users who would engage with ads and boost lifetime value (LTV). To address this, the company partnered with Google AdMob (alongside Firebase Remote Config) to improve monetization while controlling user acquisition costs.

Using Google AdMob’s tools — AdMob Native Advanced ads and tROAS for ad revenue — combined with Firebase Remote Config A/B testing, Wave Studio optimized ad formats, placements, impressions, and bidding to target higher‑value users. The changes delivered measurable results: more than a 30% increase in total ad revenue, roughly 1.5–2 million additional installs (about 2 million monthly installs), a reported >250% increase in user LTV from testing, and Native Advanced ads now generating over half of the studio’s ad revenue.
