Supercent gains 7% revenue boost with app open ads from Google AdMob

Supercent, a South Korea-based hyper-casual game developer, wanted to grow revenue without hurting gameplay or performance. The company, which already relied heavily on in-app advertising, turned to Google AdMob and its app open ads format to find a new way to increase monetization while protecting user experience.

Google AdMob helped Supercent test and roll out app open ads in a controlled way using Firebase, Play Console staged rollouts, and Crashlytics monitoring. After adding a short loading screen to improve ad display timing, Supercent raised its ad show rate from 11% to over 40% and increased ARPDAU by 7%, with no negative impact on retention or crash rates.
