Mobirix boosts average revenue per paying user 43% with AdMob

Mobirix, a Korean mobile game developer and publisher, needed to monetize its Zombie Hive game in a crowded Asian market without degrading the user experience. To strike that balance, Mobirix partnered with Google AdMob and adopted AdMob’s hybrid monetization approach, combining in-app ads with in-app purchases (IAP).

Google AdMob provided easy-to-implement ad code and tools such as auto-target lists for IAP house ads, letting Mobirix monetize non-paying players while promoting purchases to known spenders. The AdMob solution produced a 15% uplift in paying users and a 43% increase in average revenue per paying user, delivered time and cost savings, and now accounts for the majority of Mobirix’s ad revenue.
