Mattel163 adopts AdMob for IAP and ads strategy

Mattel163, the game studio behind titles like UNO!™ Mobile and Phase 10 Mobile, wanted to grow overall revenue while keeping a high-quality player experience. To do that, the team needed a hybrid monetization approach that combined in-app purchases and ads without adding too much operational complexity. They turned to Google AdMob for ad monetization and mediation support.

Google AdMob helped Mattel163 design ads and IAP together from the start of development, using waterfall mediation first and then adding bidding to improve performance. The result was a 12% increase in ad revenue compared with waterfall mediation alone, along with a 50% reduction in the time spent on daily ads management.
