Devsisters, the studio behind Cookie Run: OvenBreak and Cookie Run: Kingdom, needed a way to monetize the 90% of players who never make in-app purchases while preserving player experience—earlier ad tests had underperformed. To address this, Devsisters partnered with Google AdMob, using AdMob’s ad network and mediation and experimenting specifically with rewarded ad formats and targeted placements.

Google AdMob helped Devsisters integrate multiple rewarded ad placements and act as the primary demand source, quickly driving strong engagement and positive user feedback. The result was a 500% increase in ads revenue, the adoption of a successful IAP+IAA hybrid monetization model for their 400K+ DAU title, and plans to roll the approach into future Cookie Run releases.
