Braly JSC lifts ARPU by 17% with new ad banner format

Braly JSC, a leading Vietnam-based app studio with 15 active titles and more than 4 million monthly users, wanted to optimize ad revenue without harming the user experience. The company, which monetizes heavily through in-app ads, worked with Google AdMob and used Firebase to test ways to improve ARPU and banner performance.

Google AdMob helped Braly JSC A/B test collapsible banner ads against standard banners across 10% of users, without requiring an app update. The new format delivered a 17% lift in ARPU, a 30% increase in fill rate, and a 34% boost in eCPMs, while showing no negative impact on retention or engagement.
