BitMango increases ARPDAU by 51% through AdMob bidding

BitMango, a Pangyo, South Korea–based maker of puzzle games, faced a growth plateau and spent excessive time manually managing its mediation waterfall. To automate monetization and boost revenue, BitMango turned to Google AdMob’s bidding solution (AdMob bidding) to test real-time bidding as an alternative to its manual waterfall and internal BI automation.

Working with Google AdMob, BitMango ran an eight-week A/B test across Android and iOS in the U.S., then rolled bidding into top-grossing titles. The AdMob bidding rollout increased ARPDAU by 51% (with a top app up 60%), lifted total revenue by 24%, and raised RPM by 42%, while also reducing operational overhead related to mediation management.
