Baviux sees 25% boost in total revenue with AdMob rewarded ads

Baviux, led by founder Sergio Viudes Carbonell, wanted to offer its Voice Changer app’s features for free without hurting revenue from in‑app purchases. To achieve this, Baviux worked with Google AdMob to test rewarded ads as an alternative monetization format that would preserve user experience while capturing revenue from non‑paying users.

Working with Google AdMob, Baviux A/B tested rewarded ads (implemented in under a day and rolled out via Firebase Remote Configuration) and then integrated them alongside IAP. Within three months rewarded ads generated 33% more revenue than IAP and lifted total revenue by 25% versus the IAP‑only period, while also driving higher positive reviews; rewarded ads are now live in three of seven Baviux apps with more formats planned via Google AdMob.
