The Lawrenson Group, which operates 12 bars, restaurants and gastropubs in Auckland and Hamilton, needed a way to drive repeat visits and build a customer database in a crowded hospitality market. To reward customers and capture data they deployed Goody’s loyalty platform (Goody Card), using in-venue tablet signups, key tags and a smartphone barcode option to simplify enrollment and earning.
Goody implemented a 1 point per $1 rewards scheme across The Lawrenson Group’s Hamilton outlets, with vouchers, points-to-bill redemptions, automated reminders and back-office reporting (NPS, customer spend, sign-ups) for targeted promotions. The result was increased retention and sign-ups, higher visit frequency and incremental spend when customers redeemed rewards, improved staff performance via monthly analytics, and easier direct customer communication — outcomes The Lawrenson Group credits to Goody.
