AUT University operates four campus cafés that struggled with customer retention and wasteful paper loyalty cards as student cohorts churn each semester. Looking for a smarter, more measurable loyalty solution, AUT turned to Goody and its digital loyalty platform to replace the traditional "buy 6, get 7th free" coupon cards and better engage students who almost always have smartphones.

Goody implemented in-café tablets for on‑the‑spot signup and a smartphone app that loads rewards and coupons directly to students, while staff monitor campaigns in real time.
