Informa’s Aviation Week (AWIN) needed a way to turn its industry-leading fleet, flight, defense and maintenance datasets into secure, customer-facing products after the company continued using GoodData following the Penton acquisition. The challenge was to deliver flexible, sector- and use-case-specific experiences for commercial, business and military customers without exposing sensitive competitor data.
GoodData’s professional services partnered closely with Aviation Week through biweekly training and workshops to build a proof of concept and launch AWIN Intelligence bundles (Commercial, Business, Aerospace & Defense, and Premium). The collaboration simplified architecture and operations, created new revenue streams, cut development time by about 35% (from 14 to 9 months), and scaled distribution from 40 to over 180 workspaces, driving product growth and stronger customer renewals.
