Seznam.cz, a leading Czech internet company with 1,700 employees and about 4.6 million daily visitors, operates services from search and news to maps, email and advertising. Faced with data scattered across multiple platforms, the company needed to consolidate disparate sources, create a single source of truth, and deliver role-specific, easy-to-maintain analytics that could scale across departments and onboard new users quickly.
Seznam.cz implemented GoodData to unify dozens of internal and external databases into a semantic model, enabling 88 customized dashboards and about 1,800 active dashboard users. The multi-tenant, drag-and-drop platform made sharing, ad hoc analysis, and custom metrics simple, driving faster decisions, lower maintenance costs, and expanded use across finance, marketing, HR and external partner reporting.
