The Salvation Army needed steady, efficient funding and better access to corporate donors and employees to support its wide range of community services. To meet that challenge they partnered with Good2Give and used Good2Give’s workplace giving service/platform as a low‑cost, hassle‑free way to secure regular donations that can be directed to greatest need.
Good2Give lists four project options on its platform, enables employee giving and employer matching, and has helped The Salvation Army raise nearly $132,000 in workplace giving and grants through the platform in the last financial year (and over $3 million in corporate partnership support overall). That reliable income supports measurable outcomes — 2,600 beds each week, help for 2,500+ women in domestic violence services annually, assistance to about 26,000 disaster-affected people each year, roughly 55,000 meals weekly, and support for more than 3,400 people with addiction issues — and The Salvation Army says Good2Give has opened them up to a wider corporate donor base.
