The impact of workplace giving for Berry Street

Berry Street is a Victoria-based charity with a 140-year history focused on helping children and young people affected by family violence, child abuse and neglect. Facing more than 1,000 family violence referrals each month, Berry Street runs foster and residential care, therapy, education and family support programs that rely on a mix of government funding and philanthropic support — including workplace giving through Good2Give.

Good2Give’s workplace giving service channels corporate and employee donations to Berry Street, enabling the charity to fund therapeutic programs and service innovations beyond core funding. Those donations support multiple initiatives (for example, Vanguard’s contributions to the Turtle program) and help Berry Street deliver services to the many children and families referred each month, strengthening capacity to reach Victoria’s most vulnerable young people.
