A Good2Give Case Study

Preview of the Vicinity Centres Case Study

Partnerships for lasting impact on youth disengagement and unemployment

Vicinity Centres, one of Australia’s leading retail property companies with over 60 shopping centres, identified youth disengagement and unemployment as a key community issue affecting their centres. To design a national community investment program and introduce workplace giving, Vicinity Centres engaged Good2Give for its advisory services and workplace giving technology.

Good2Give managed the partner-selection process, provided its National Community Partnership Framework and launched workplace giving (raising over $50,000 for 100+ charities as of Feb 2019), helping Vicinity Centres establish a three‑year partnership with Beacon Foundation. The partnership delivered mentoring (Vicinity Uncovered), work experience, on-site programs, fundraising and volunteering, reaching more than 1,500 students, increasing staff engagement and embedding clear KPIs and reporting across Vicinity Centres.
