Encouraging donations through matched payroll giving

REA Group faced a challenge when their Community Café had to close as staff shifted to working from home and they wanted to keep supporting charity partners. To maintain employee giving, REA Group partnered with Good2Give and used the Good2Give Matched Payroll Giving platform to encourage small donations during virtual coffees.

REA Group implemented donations via the Good2Give Matched Payroll Giving platform, with gifts deducted from employees' pre-tax salaries and matched dollar-for-dollar by REA, amplifying each contribution. The initiative directs support to Launch Housing, Orange Sky Australia, The Big Issue and any of the 2400+ charities on Good2Give, preserving community support while increasing the effective value of employee donations.
