Case Study: Starling Bank drives equal pitch access awareness with Good Relations

A Good Relations Case Study

Starling Bank drives 1.2bn PR reach with Good Relations

The customer, Starling Bank, challenged vendor Good Relations to spotlight the issue of unequal pitch access for women and girls' football teams and to generate awareness for its 'Pitch Pack' manifesto. The goal was to advocate for fairer access, aligning with the bank's mission to campaign for greater fairness in the finance industry.

Good Relations commissioned research to frame the issue and partnered with football stars Beth Mead and Jill Scott as spokespeople. The solution involved securing top-tier national media interviews and coverage. The campaign achieved over 25 items of national coverage, a 1.2 billion PR reach, and drove more than 3,800 sign-ups to Starling's 'Kick On' manifesto.
