Habitat for Humanity Chicago, a local affiliate of the global nonprofit, needed to establish a new flagship fundraiser after the pandemic cancelled their usual event. Their Associate Board President, Chris Johnson, decided to launch a golf tournament to raise money for their HomeBuyer University program but lacked any prior event planning experience. The challenge was to efficiently organize and run this new event to meet a conservative fundraising goal of $8,000.

The solution centralized registration, payments, and sponsor management, saving significant time and simplifying logistics. As a result, the inaugural tournament surpassed its goal, raising $13,000 from 19 teams and nine sponsorships.
