West LA College partnered with Golden Star Technology (GST) to address the need for a major classroom AV systems upgrade as the college expanded to serve more online and international students. To strengthen virtual collaboration between students and teachers, the project targeted key learning and meeting spaces including the main auditorium, classrooms, dance studios, fine arts rooms, and the President’s conference room.

Golden Star Technology implemented a best-practices AV solution featuring ceiling-mounted projectors, projection screens, PC monitor mounts, switching and routing for multiple sources, ceiling speakers, an audio amplifier, wireless microphones, an assistive listening system, a media controller, and locking lecterns to house the components. The upgrade created a more connected learning environment and improved AV collaboration across campus, though the case study does not provide specific quantitative results.
