Golden Star Technology (GST) worked with Nye County School District to upgrade the audio system in a school gymnasium that is used for sports events and class functions. The district wanted clearer dialog and better intelligibility, along with a new amplifier featuring built-in speaker voicing and equalization to improve overall sound quality.

Golden Star Technology installed fly speakers above center court, rack-mounted and configured existing equipment, added wireless microphone receivers and handheld transmitters, a remote antenna, and a digital audio mixer. GST thoroughly tested and adjusted the system for maximum performance and also provided staff training, resulting in improved audio capabilities and more effective use of the gym’s sound system.
