Golden Star Technology (GST) worked with LA City College to upgrade AV systems across the Student Services Building and classrooms. The college needed a carefully planned rollout, so GST’s AV engineers collaborated weeks in advance to define the design, build the test plan, order and install the equipment, and schedule the right technical support for the proof of concept.
Golden Star Technology implemented AV solutions for classroom labs, a conference room, a dental lab, and a weight room, including desktop PCs, interactive control tablets, projectors, speakers, switchers, microphones, video distribution, document cameras, and videoconferencing tools from brands such as Crestron, Epson, Extron, Utelogy, and WolfVision. GST also provided a one-year warranty covering classroom AV equipment in the buildings, helping standardize and support the upgraded learning environments, though the case study does not cite specific measurable performance results.
