How Kong Ditched its Patchwork Platform and Doubled Event Attendance

Kong, the end-to-end service connectivity platform, needed to replace canceled in-person events and a clunky patchwork virtual setup (Zoom plus a separate front end) that made session navigation difficult and lacked the integrations and analytics required for partner-driven B2B lead generation. After evaluating options, Kong selected Goldcast’s virtual event platform to provide the marketing integrations (Pardot, Salesforce, Google Tag Manager) and engagement tracking it needed.

Goldcast implemented a unified event experience with magic links, easier session navigation, partner-friendly features and robust analytics, enabling Kong to scale its partner summits. The results: a 2x increase in attendance (attendance rate rose from 18% to 39%), a 59 NPS, and 85% of respondents rating the event 5/5, while improving partner lead generation and attendee engagement.
