Going beyond the numbers: Seamless event flow for incredible attendee experience

Gremlin, led by Senior Events Manager Karli Williamson, needed to scale Failover Conf while overcoming two big challenges: a niche, knowledge-hungry engineering audience and widespread Zoom fatigue. To deliver richer, more interactive experiences and better qualify leads, Gremlin selected Goldcast’s virtual event platform to support a dynamic agenda and more engaging production.

Using Goldcast’s streaming, backstage, booth and networking features—plus easy mixing of live and pre-recorded content and autoplay-guided flows—Gremlin created a choose-your-own-path event with built-in engagement and data capture. The results with Goldcast were strong: 2,000 attendees, a 50% MQL rate (~1,000 MQLs), and an average attendance time of about 210 minutes (3.5 hours), plus high attendee satisfaction and actionable post-event scoring for sales follow-up.
