Regional Hospital Foundation, a rural Vancouver Island nonprofit, needed help when their office manager went on maternity leave and they realized they required an Executive Director to support a complex expansion project. They turned to Goldbeck Recruiting for recruitment support, with a strong preference for local candidates and a need for someone with significant fundraising and large-project experience.

Goldbeck Recruiting began by sourcing and interviewing candidates locally, then expanded the search across Canada when the right experience wasn’t available nearby. After about 20 interviews, Goldbeck submitted 8 qualified candidates, leading to 6 first-round interviews, 3 finalists, and ultimately a successful hire of a senior fundraising leader who wanted to relocate back to Vancouver Island. Goldbeck also offered the nonprofit 25% off its service fees, helping deliver a cost-effective search and a strong outcome.
