Burgess Petcare, a leading UK pet food manufacturer serving 3,000+ independent specialist retailers through a network of national and regional wholesalers and supported by six territory sales managers, needed a way to measure field performance. They lacked visibility of transfer orders taken for wholesalers, daily call activity, and in-store effectiveness, and required both detailed entry/exit audits (to get before-and-after measures of merchandising and product presence) and broader distribution audits to track percentage distribution by SKU. To address this, they engaged Gold-Vision CRM.

Gold-Vision CRM adapted its CRM to give Burgess a single tool to manage customers, capture transfer orders, and run detailed store audits, integrating data with car trackers and internal admin systems and later linking to the company website for SKU lookup.
