Pilgrim, a fast-growing Indian beauty and personal care brand, wanted to run a smooth 5-day birthday flash sale without the platform errors, order-processing bottlenecks, and customer escalations they had faced in a previous flash sale. To prepare for the surge in traffic and orders, they brought in GoKwik and used its Kwik Checkout solution.
GoKwik implemented smart order processing, reduced API requests to improve efficiency, helped increase rate limits from 20 to 100 requests per second, and managed downtime with clear, empathetic error messages. The result was an error-free sale with about 3 lakh checkout hits/order requests, 75K+ successful orders, a 2X lift versus Pilgrim’s April flash sale, and as many as 7,200 requests per minute handled through GoKwik’s KwikCheckout.
