Wichita Falls ISD - Customer Case Study

Wichita Falls ISD, a K–12 district in Wichita, Texas with 28 schools, about 14,200 students and 1,350+ Chromebooks, faced persistent classroom-management challenges: keeping students on task, blocking inappropriate content, ensuring tools were easy for teachers to use, and tracking devices sent home. The district evaluated solutions and selected GoGuardian, deploying GoGuardian Admin and GoGuardian Teacher to meet those needs.

GoGuardian’s suite provided granular filtering, Smart Alerts, remote classroom management, a Chat tool for remote help, and a Theft Recovery feature to locate lost devices. Teachers adopted the tools quickly and administrators regained control of device management; measurable outcomes for the 2017–18 year included just 3% time spent off-task, 6% time on YouTube and 39% time on G‑Suite, plus repeated successful Chromebook recoveries using GoGuardian’s Theft Recovery.
