Marysville School District, a K–12 district in Snohomish, Washington with 24 schools, 12,000+ students and more than 13,000 Chromebooks, needed a fast, Chrome-specific filtering and device-management solution to support its 1:1 initiative and keep students safe on- and off-campus. After trying other tools that slowed devices, CTO Scott Beebe selected GoGuardian and its Admin filtering/monitoring capabilities, signing a multi-year agreement for district-wide deployment.

GoGuardian rolled out across the district’s 13,000+ Chromebooks, providing fast filtering, real‑time monitoring, classroom management and features like Theft Recovery and remote whitelisting. The implementation exceeded expectations—Marysville can manage devices in and out of class, intervene with at‑risk students (including locating a runaway via GoGuardian’s recovery feature), and monitor use (key usage numbers: 6% time off‑task, 12% YouTube, 30% G‑Suite)—demonstrating improved responsiveness and support after adopting GoGuardian.
