Chagrin Falls High School - Customer Case Study

Chagrin Falls High School faced rising challenges after rolling out district-owned Chromebooks to K–12 students: repeated network outages traced to a denial-of-service attack and difficulty identifying student online activity using Google Admin alone. Director of Technology Mike Daugherty selected GoGuardian to provide the deeper, content-based filtering and monitoring the district needed across its 2,200+ devices.

GoGuardian implemented Admin, Teacher, and Fleet to give rapid, granular visibility and control (Daugherty notes installation took minutes), enabling the district to block attacks, track stolen devices, and monitor student activity. As a result, Chagrin Falls reported major gains in focus and safety—75% of student activity became academic, just 7% off-task, <1% on YouTube, and 41% on G‑Suite—demonstrating measurable improvements in security and digital citizenship with GoGuardian.
