Martini Media Uses GoGrids Cloud to Reach Affluent Consumers with the Right Ads

Martini Media is a digital media platform that connects advertisers with affluent U.S. consumers (household incomes over $100K) across a 1,000-site publisher network. To serve precisely targeted ads it processes more than 250 million online events per day, and faced scalability, latency and infrastructure limits with its previous provider while growing at roughly 100% annually.

Martini adopted GoGrid’s hybrid IaaS—combining 40+ cloud servers, 20+ dedicated Cassandra nodes and a 1 Gb CloudLink between East and West data centers—to optimize Big Data processing and coast-to-coast ad delivery. The solution enabled ad serving in 150–200 ms, faster provisioning, improved Cassandra replication, reduced application insert latency by more than 200% and increased write throughput by 40%, while supporting rapid growth and responsive technical support.
